One of the first gardens I planted was this shade bed next to the small storage building in the back of the yard.  It stays shady most of the time, so I chose hostas and ferns, then later added some split leaf philodendron, spider plants, and other shade lovers.

This picture is taken early in the Spring before all of the hostas have come back up and filled in the bed nicer.  As the bed fills out, I will update this photo.
