Osteospermum Dazzler
Osteospermum "Dazzler"

Genus of about 70 species of evergreen subshrubs, perennials, and annuals, mostly from southern Africa, but also from the Arabian Peninsula, mainly found in grassland, on rocky mountains, or at forest margins.  They are grown for their daisy-like, usually white, pink, or yellow flowerheads, sometimes with disk florets in a contrasting color.  Grow in light, moderately fertile, well-drained soil in a warm, sheltered site in full sun.  Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.  Hardiness rating is from zones 9-11.  Where not hardy, they are best grown as annuals.
