Well, as you can see, I have been quite remiss in updating my garden diary and website. I hope to do a little better this year! What is blooming right now? Rosa Sunsprite have burst into bloom. I sprayed with Orthenex yesterday due to a few patches of blackspot. Wiegela is blooming beautifully. Cestrum elegans is blooming, all Irises are blooming beautifully. Indigofera kirilowii is just beginning to bloom. The minature azaleas in the entry bed are just beginning to bloom. We got 3 additional pink gumpos and put in that bed yesterday, and they are blooming also. The Senecio Glabellus is just finishing it's annual bloom. Brunfelsia is blooming also.

Epsom salt, 1 tbsp/gal, used on Island Bed 1, Island Bed 2, Rose Bed 1, Shade Bed.
Sprayed all cannas for leaf rollers. Gardenias are blooming. Chinese Foxglove is blooming.
Noticed leaf rollers on cannas in the barrel planter. Cape Iris is blooming.
Noticed the indigofera kirilowii is blooming today.
Roses sprayed again with Orthenex. Island Bed 1, Island Bed 2, and Rose Bed 1 fertilized with Miracid. Resprayed firecracker plants and gaura with Orthenex. Pulled up Monarda as doubtful it will bloom here.
Noticed something eating the firecracker plant and gaura. Sprayed both with Orthenex. White coneflower seedlings were potted up in 6 packs.
Planted replacement plants received from The Garden Store and Milleagers. White coneflowers planted in East corner bed. Giant soloman's seal, lady ferns, and cinnamon fern planted in West corner bed.
